Maximising local content at Sahara

Our strategy is to utilize our in-house staff and associates, working together with international experts on assignments to meet international best practice standards.

Sahara has a pool of associate consultants, trained locally and internationally to postgraduate and doctoral levels in various disciplines, and has worked together over an extended period and delivered on various environmental and social impact assessment projects, environmental audits and feasibility studies. The associates include academics and lead professionals per thematic area relevant to the projects we undertake.

In selecting our working teams, we consider very carefully the specific needs of the assignment, and special attention is paid to the disciplines to be covered within the assignment. The experts must have the experience to perform their tasks independently in direct cooperation with client staff and other stakeholders; Proven knowledge of local social, cultural and physical conditions as well as wide working experience in similar assignments.
